During a placement with Friends of Kootenay Lake, I had the opportunity to contribute to meaningful environmental initiatives focused on preserving the health of the lake and its surrounding ecosystems through visual media. I helped amplify the organization's message of conservation and stewardship by creating the videos For the Love of the Lake, and Kootenay Lake Watershed Monitoring. These projects allowed me to combine my storytelling skills with my passion for environmental advocacy, creating engaging content to inspire community action
